It's a funny world (2)

In some Asian countries, shirts with English words on them are popular, but many people neither know nor much care what those words mean.

Oh, there's some funny ones here! My faves include pee limit, the toilet ring guitar, the cat with the salad, and the aliens' response to human contact attempts! And of course I stole the bee identification one for my own meme stash!

Thanks for all the much-needed belly laughs this morning! I'm sure I get the exact same look on my face as that white cat when presented with salad, LOL!

Purchase of the guitar would depend on who previously owned the toilet seat. J Lo? The 2021 mask, does J Lo come with it? The 10 foot diameter hat isn't working too well.

My late husband worked for the Japanese company, NEC, for a number of years. While traveling on the subway system in Tokyo, he often saw young girls wearing small shoulder purses with English words written on them. One morning he saw a little girl about 10 years old wearing a pretty little pink shoulder purse with the English word "shit" written all over it as a decorative motif. Seeing this use of inappropriate words in English as decoration on clothing and accessories was fairly common and always hilarious.

These were all great fun.

In China, I saw women wearing T-shirts that said "It's not the meat, it's the motion."

Debra: Cats are not vegan, that's for sure.

Sixpence: That's all we need, aliens accusing us of sexual stalking.

Tundra: Always glad to amuse.

Mike: I don't think anyone would buy that guitar if the principal component were "used" rather than brand new. As for the hat, it's impractical but less stupid than wearing a baseball cap the wrong way round and then shading one's eyes with the hand, as so many people do.

Shaw: That one doesn't surprise me. Of course, given how many Americans have shirts or even tattoos with Chinese characters, I'm sure many people here are unwittingly committing similar embarrassments.

Anon: In that case, they may have really meant it.....
