So many terrific images!
I think the 7up people HAD to know what they were suggesting.
Houses with grass roofs may be environmentally friendly but I would hate to have to find a leak.
I like the life progression.
I thought the number of gods was over 4000.
I'm afraid I have a trigger word; tRUMP.
It's funny because Trumpies are the most easily triggered of all. It just takes three little letters.
Strangely, they're also always the ones going on and using "trigger" derisively.
Of course, actual PTSD is triggered by extremely tangential things the mind has just associated with the trauma, like a smell or a color or some background noise or something similar, basically just like A Clockwork Orange. Being in a place can be an issue, or the anniversary of the traumatic event. Often these are worse than discussing the event.
And the worst thing you can do besides causing the trauma, I shouldn't have to bring this up, but you know, internet narcissism being what it is, is make someone else's trauma about yourself.
Ricko: Thanks!
Mike: Oh, I'm sure the people who made those old ads were well aware of the double meanings. But at least they had plausible deniability.
I'm sure there are various practical issues with those houses, or else lots of houses would actually be built that way. I love the look of them, though.
Who knows the exact number of gods? The Christians themselves can't be clear on whether they have one or three. Hinduism alone is said to have hundreds of millions of gods. Point is, there's a buttload of them.
Anon: Perhaps so, but I try to keep politics out of these "image round-up" posts.
What a great collection of images! These posts are always fun.
great ones again!
Thanks ladies!
