About Me
- Name: Infidel753
- Location: Portland, Oregon, United States
Individualist, pro-technology, pro-democracy, anti-religion. I speak only for myself and not for any ideology, movement, or party. It has been my great good fortune to live my whole life free of "spirituality" of any kind. I believe that evidence and reason are the keys to understanding reality; that technology rather than ideology or politics has been the great liberator of humanity; and that in the long run, human intelligence is the most powerful force in the universe.

Uhhh...forgive me here...but I must be missing something. This photographer was trying to make McCain look "evil" or "bad skin" or such? I must be getting old myself then..because I think the photo's look great! Especially the cover shot.A stong American man, that look of confidence and determination, rugged individualism etc. I mean...as far as I'm concerned...those photo's "sell me" just alone. But "evil"? or "bad"? I dont see anything sinister looking about them.Or anything that would make me hesitant of liking this man.He simply looks like a "straight-shooter" to me. He looks..well... very Presidential to me.
The real issue is the ones she kept (in breach of her contract with The Atlantic) and photoshopped. You have to scroll down a bit further.
She is ethically (perhaps legally?) in the wrong.
Other than that?
????
Well, the internet has certainly helped make politics entertaining this election cycle.
It's too bad this sort of thing garners more publicity then any real issues like the Candidate's stands on, health care, the war, immigration, separation of Church & State, etc...
I suppose it's easier to sling mud then to think.
Huh? "Issues"? What're those? :-)
Handmaiden, you are right.
We are debating the political savvy and ethics of the candidates' machines and not the issues.
Oh, and the media bias--both directions.
Oh, that last picture was priceless.
I think John McCain't looks like a turtle.
