Will uploaded life be dangerous?

When we humans can upload ourselves into computers and escape our present dependence on fragile and aging-prone organic brains, will we find ourselves vulnerable to new, unexpected dangers? Personally I'm not worried, but this posting and discussion on George Dvorsky's Sentient Developments site are interesting.
